B2B & Technology · Kantera Cloud
44% of demos now start in organic search
September 2025 – August 2026
Cloud infrastructure with regulatory compliance for Mexican fintechs. A superior product, an invisible brand: whoever didn’t arrive by referral didn’t arrive. Program started by our founding team and absorbed by HAB communications in January 2026.
Challenge
Kantera competes against AWS and Azure with a powerful argument — CNBV compliance out of the box and Spanish-language support that actually answers — but in September 2025 its site received 900 visits a month with zero commercial keywords in the top 10. The fintechs that needed them didn’t know they existed: they searched Google and ChatGPT, and found the giants.
The challenge was double: build organic visibility in a technical category dominated by English-language documentation, and do it with an in-house content team of exactly one person.
Approach
We bet everything on depth: instead of twenty shallow articles a month, two serious technical pieces — regulated architecture guides, region-by-region comparisons against the hyperscalers, complete answers to the questions a fintech CTO asks before migrating. Each piece in native Spanish, with an English version where the topic warranted it.
The technical foundation was aligned to how machines read: structured data on every page, a clear topic architecture, and direct-answer blocks designed so AI search engines cite Kantera by name. The llms.txt and the schema aren’t fashion: they’re the difference between being a source and being invisible.
Every quarter we audited which real customer questions still lacked a public answer — and those defined the next calendar. The one-person team delivered because they never wrote blind.
Results
Twelve months later, organic is the top demo channel: 44% of all demos start in search, traffic grew 212% and 31 commercial keywords rank in the top 3 — including “nube CNBV” and its variants. Kantera appears cited in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers about regulated infrastructure in Mexico. Cost per demo from organic is 73% below paid channels.
